Our 6-Session, Multi-Season Flow

"Some things I valued about the sessions:Hearing from everyone in the container so often, seeing your practices in action, the consistency of sessions, the amount of sessions, grief-tending videos you sent in-between sessions."

ILID Course Facilitator

As an unwavering advocate for personal leadership and intergenerational harmony, I draw from a decade of immersive experience in unschooling to guide individuals in forging stronger, self-directed bonds across all ages and life stages. Rooted in a profound commitment to bridging generational divides, my work extends to addressing the often-neglected realm of education around grief, loss, and change. Through my influential podcast, Fare of the Free Child, and my active participation in a variety of communal projects, I've walked with families as they/we cultivate healthier dynamics rooted in respect, consent, and learning to live with things we may never fully understand, change, or prefer.

TESTIMONIALS

"I feel like such a beginner with grief because I didn't allow myself to feel it in so many ways, or I did and I suppressed it. So just the idea that it's a "come as you are, come where you can be...it's a skill that keeps improving," has just been monumental for me. So grateful for all of you and this safe and brave container, so thank you.

"The pace was magical and supported deep and layered learning and exploration. I appreciated the framework / content of what we would be moving through, while also the room for more emergence during the session (supported by the slowness). I LOVED how this was a journey of the senses and experiencing friend through different sense… visual, sound, touch and smell."

"You made space for multiple understandings and ways of showing up. You also guided and demonstrated what you were saying. Offered examples. Shared from your experience AND made so much room for everyone to be who we are."

"The main value point for me is to be able to witness Akilah's wisdom as she shared her experiences with grieving parts or versions of ourselves. But oh man did I experience some wild grief things!"
